We are here to grab a bite on the NYC Half Marathon Sunday. This is the only breakfast place that's open (very nice that they open early) and the chef and the lady at the cashier register were lovely. Courteous and just very welcoming. We stood for a while looking at all the breakfast specials. Finally decided on Beef sausage, 2 eggs , ghost pepper jack cheese on a roll. A drip coffee and a tea. The place was packed when we came in. (Because of the marathon) Everyone left with a smile and thanking the chef. We finally got our breakfast sandwich and it was pipping hot. Cheese melted over the eggs and the sausage was juicy. The roll soft and warm and "al dente". Just delicious.
Would love to come back more often but we live kinda far...will def be back next Half Marathon.

So I didn't expect to go to Penny House Café today. I was craving a bite to eat and needed a space to get some thoughtful work done, so I went to Google, ran into this place, and decided to go — and I have no regrets. When I first walked in, the smell — and it's a weird thing to start with the smell of a place — but it smelled perfect, like someone was making fresh food and fresh coffee, so I went in. I ordered and met a man named Mahmoud, who I'm assuming was the manager. His name happens to be my uncle's name, and he was just a great manager with great vibes. The food was great, I got so much work done, and I'm excited to come back again because I know I have a great space to have a good time.

Stopped by this spot in Brooklyn and had one of the best vegetable omelettes I’ve ever tasted—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. You can really tell they care about quality. Definitely coming back!
